Ahmad, Harris dismissed from program

WVU Basketball

WVU men’s basketball has dismissed senior forward Esa Ahmad and junior forward Wesley Harris, according to a statement from the program Monday. 

According to the release, players were dismissed from the team for violating athletic department policies. 

Ahmad and Harris have combined for nearly 20 points per game this season. Ahmad, the team’s only senior, averaged 12 points per game and 28 minutes per game, while Harris averaged 7.9 points per game and 25.2 minutes per game. Ahmad is also West Virginia’s leader in starts with 22.
