Nick and Anjelica bring you their weekly ‘Eer to ‘Eer from the Covelli Center in Youngstown, following the win against the Penguins. You’ll also see their keys to finishing out 2019 with a win in the non-conference slate of the season, as well as a recap of all the action from the Youngstown State game.
Former WVU assistant coach and current Youngstown State head coach Jerrod Calhoun joins the program to talk going up against Coach Huggins for the second time. Calhoun discusses how he feels his team out-hustled the Mountaineers, and his hopes that attendance in games will rise for the Penguins.
Nick sits down with WVU Athletic Director Shane Lyons to discuss topics in the closing weeks of 2019. Lyons discusses the close knit men’s hoops team, the football team closing out their season with a win, and being the Chair of the Division I Football Oversight Committee and the topic of the redshirt rule. Hear more of Lyon’s thoughts coming up on the program.
We’re coming up on the new year and conference play in basketball. Warren Baker is bringing you his wishes for the upcoming conference slate for the Mountaineers in this week’s Court-Side with Bake.
Anjelica sits down with Tony to close out this episode of The Bob Huggins Show. Anjelica and Tony discuss how the Mountaineers pulled off the 11-point victory on the road and the first game played as a top-25 team. Tony touches on how the Mountaineers changed up their play in the second half, after a ‘sluggish’ first half. Tony and Anjelica also discuss how the Mountaineers need to prepare to take on a No. 2 ranked Ohio State Buckeyes.
Plus, we’ll take a look back at the last ten years of Mountaineer athletics, remembering all of the greatest moments that made the 2010s memorable in Morgantown!
