Report: Brandon Knapper enters transfer portal

As basketball season ends early, the entries to the transfer portal begin.

As first reported by Verbal Commits, redshirt sophomore guard Brandon Knapper has signaled his intent to move on from West Virginia and will enter the transfer portal.

The South Charleston native finished the season averaging 8.4 minutes per game, chipping in 2.6 points and 0.7 assists. However, his minutes took a steep drop in the month of February, playing single-digit minutes for his final six games.

Knapper averaged of 3.9 points and 1.1 assists over the course of his Mountaineer career.
