WATCH: Coach Carey, players discuss elimination from Big 12 tournament

WVU Women's Basketball

Naomi Davenport once again led West Virginia in scoring Sunday night in the Big 12 semifinals, but she said everyone seemed “gassed,” as the Mountaineers fell to Texas, 68-55.

The loss ends the Mountaineers’ hopes of repeating as Big 12 champ, and now WVU must wait to learn if it will qualify for the NCAA tournament. The women’s selection show is March 12.
