With the regular season now behind them, several Mountaineers on the West Virginia women’s soccer team were honored by the Big 12 Conference.

Senior goalkeeper Rylee Foster completed her four-year sweep receiving all-conference honors. This season she was named to the All-Big 12 Second Team along with sophomore defender Jordan Brewster.

Two more Mountaineers — Enzi Broussard and Nicole Payne — were named to the All-Big 12 Freshman Team.

“It’s always an honor when our players get recognized by the Big 12 and our league’s fellow coaches as some of the best players in the conference,” coach Nikki Izzo-Brown said. “Not only is their individual hard work being recognized, but so is our team’s determination to compete hard every time we are together as a team to make each other better.”

Foster was again one of the top keepers in the conference, tallying 68 saves on the year, the second-highest mark in the Big 12. She was also third in the league in saves with six.

Brewster makes her second consecutive appearance on the list after making the team as a freshman last season.
