With the 2019 West Virginia University football season opener and the start of a new era under coach Neal Brown less than two months away, the Mountaineer Ticket Office has announced that mini-packages and single-game tickets will go on sale to the public on Tuesday, July 9, at 9 a.m.

Tickets will be available for purchase online at, by calling 1-800-WVU GAME or in-person at the Mountaineer Ticket Office inside the WVU Coliseum.

WVU is offering two mini-package options for home games this fall. The Gold Mini-Pack features three games for $205: NC State, Texas and Texas Tech. The Blue Mini-Pack, also a three-game option, is priced at $200 and includes the Texas, Iowa State and Oklahoma State games.

Single-game tickets will be available for games against James Madison, Iowa State, Texas Tech and Oklahoma State. The James Madison game is priced at $55, while the Iowa State, Texas Tech and Oklahoma State games are priced at $65 each. WVU’s matchups with NC State and Texas are only available through mini-packages at this time. If available, individual tickets for those two games will go on sale at a later date. For information on discounted rates for groups of 20 or more, contact the Mountaineer Ticket Office at 1-800-WVU GAME, as group discounts are not available online.

Fans are encouraged to utilize the ‘Pick Your Own Seat’ option on for single-game purchases. The seats, available online at, are the best possible available at the time, pending completion of season ticket and mini-package sales. Available tickets will be located in the Gold, Orange and Green Zone sections of Milan Puskar Stadium.

For fans wanting to purchase mini-package or single-game tickets in the upper level Red Zone sections (204 and 216-219) of Milan Puskar Stadium, a $75 Mountaineer Athletic Club annual fund/ticket priority gift per ticket per game is required unless they are currently MAC members at the Gold annual giving level or above. Upper level Red Zone seats may be purchased over the phone by calling 1-800-WVU GAME, but are not available online.

Also available is the 304 Mobile Pass, which provides a ticket to every 2019 home game for only $249. This all-mobile season ticket allows fans to watch each game from various viewpoints in the stadium with different seats each week, as the tickets are conveniently delivered on mobile via text message 24 hours prior to each game.

The matchups with James Madison and Texas Tech have been designated as “Family Day” games with four tickets and a $25 concession voucher included in each package. A James Madison game Family Day package is priced at $150, while a Texas Tech Family Day package costs $200 each.

Tickets for West Virginia’s road contests with Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Baylor, K-State and TCU also will be available on July 9. Existing season ticket holders and MAC members should log in to their account or call the Mountaineer Ticket Office to purchase away game tickets.

West Virginia opens the 2019 season against James Madison, Aug. 31, at Mountaineer Field at Milan Puskar Stadium.
