MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - A couple different Mountaineers shined this past week in the NFL.
Offensive Mountaineer of Week: Wendell Smallwood (RB, PHI)
Smallwood played well Sunday as he had three rushes for 27 yards and three receptions for 44 yards including a crucial third quarter touchdown catch from Carson Wentz out of the backfield.
Defensive Mountaineer of Week: Najee Goode (LB, IND)
Goode had a career high game on Thursday, as he had seven combined tackles as well as his first interception of the year and a pass deflection. A big game for the seven-year veteran.
Biggest Surprise: Daryl Worley (CB, OAK)
Worley coming off a four-game suspension saw his first action of 2018 in Week 4. He had a major impact for the Raiders on Sunday, as he recorded 8 combined tackles and 2 tackles for loss.
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Shelton Gibson had a 48-yard catch for his first reception of the season.
A couple injuries to note: Karl Joseph is week to week with a hamstring injury. Kyzir White will undergo minor knee surgery and will miss a couple weeks but should return this season.
