West Virginia’s offensive line just got one man deeper after adding transfer Ja’Quay Hubbard from Virginia.

Hubbard, a 6-5, 335-pound tackle from Sharpsville, Pennsylvania, announced his decision to join the Mountianeers on Twitter.

“Thank you to Coach [Neal Brown] and [Coach Matt Moore] for the opportunity to further my education and be apart (sic) of the climb,” Hubbard wrote. “Committed @WVUFootball let’s go!!”

Coach Neal Brown celebrated the new addition with his trademark “Let’s Go!!!” tweet on his own account.

Hubbard redshirted in his freshman year with the Cavaliers, but appeared in two games including the season opener against Pitt on special teams. He also saw time on the offensive line in their week two contest against William and Mary.

Coming out of Sharpsville as a member of the 2019 class, Hubbard was a Rivals.com 4-star and a 247Sports 3-star recruit. He was ranked among the top ten recruits in the state of Pennsylvania in his class.
