West Virginia’s wide receiver corps just got one man deeper.

Transfer Sean Ryan will be immediately eligible to play for the 2019 season as announced by Neal Brown. Ryan comes to the Mountaineers by way of the Temple Owls, where he played in five games last season. He would make 12 catches for 162 yards and a touchdown.

Ryan will add a year of experience to the already young wide receiver position group.

“He’s done a great job,” said wide receivers coach Xavier Dye of Ryan during fall camp. “…we’ve just got to keep progressing and keep being better each day.”
