Mountaineer GameDay is BACK on Saturday morning!
After a special Thursday edition last week, we are back on Saturday morning for Mountaineer GameDay!
Start your gameday with Scott Nolte and Amanda Mazey in studio with Anjelica Trinone and Nick Farrell live from the stadium. The gang will preview the matchup between the Mountaineers and the Red Raiders and give inside analysis on all things West Virginia football.
Mountaineer GameDay airs at 10 a.m. ET on your local Nexstar affiliates and 11 a.m. ET on AT&T SportsNet (check your local listings).
Two teams coming off narrow losses will clash at Milan Puskar Stadium in a battle for a much-needed victory for either team.
West Virginia is coming off their best defensive performance yet this season, in which they held undefeated Baylor to just 17 points. Their struggles, however, came on the other side of the ball — the Mountaineers scored just 14 points and rushed for 14 yards.
Under first-year coach Matt Wells, Texas Tech also fell by just a field goal in their last match-up against Kansas after allowing the Jayhawks to outscore the Red Raiders 17-7 in the fourth quarter. TTU has gotten their offense going behind the arm of Jet Duffy, the fifth-leading passer in the Big 12.
Mountaineers are underdogs once again
Texas Tech is favored by a tight 2.5 points on the sportsbooks of both FanDuel and DraftKings.
