WVU football’s coaching staff says the team has made progress since fall camp ended. Seniors like offensive lineman Colton McKivitz and defensive lineman Reese Donahue agree, saying summer practices made a major impact on the team.

Some newcomers have also injected a charge into the Mountaineer roster, including graduate transfer George Campbell, an energetic and experienced wide receiver who has already caught the attention of redshirt junior T.J. Simmons:
